Have a Picnic

The top of the Orchard is arguably one of the best scenic views of the Berkshire hills, making this a wonderful place to rest with snacks or a picnic lunch.  Snacks and beverages are available at the Farm Winery Store or you can bring your own.

Fall foliage in the Berkshires is spectacular from the top of Hilltop Orchards

Hilltop Adventures Guided Bike Trips

Holly is also putting together some fantastic bike trips - one leaves from the Orchard, takes Rt. 295 onto Rt. 41 turning left onto Lenox Rd. then through Swamp Rd. looping back to the Orchard. This 8 mile ride takes about 1 hour and is recommended for intermediate riders (longer rides are available upon request). Holly can also arrange to meet you right at your Inn or B&B to start the bike ride. Contact her by email or phone (413-281-2028).

Apple Picking, Free Hay Rides

The Fall is our favorite season here as our delicious tree-ripe apples are ready to be picked. And if that isn't enough, there's the famous Fall foliage...our hilltop offers one of the best views of the colorful Berkshire hills. Families enjoy the free hay rides up to the orchard to pick their own apples.  The orchard grows over 24 varieties including many antique heritage apples that have been preserved and propagated for over 100 years. More information.
