- EASY - Walk to the top of the Orchard then sit at the picnic table and enjoy the fabulous 20-mile views of the Berkshire hills.
- EASY/MODERATE - Extend your hike by taking the Johnny Mash II 1 mile wooded country trail. The terrain is flat and follows the Furnace Brook creek to a stunning forest of majestic hemlocks. This entire hike takes about 1 hour round-trip.
- MODERATE - The Johnny Mash 1 trail connects to the new Perry's Peak trail and is a beautiful 3.5km (2.2 miles) loop beginning at our Farm Winery Store and heading up through the orchard with twists and turns in and out of the woods.

Hikers are required to sign-in at the Farm Winery Store prior to their hike. There is a $5.00 fee per person - a portion is donated to land preservation. It is advised that hikers wear appropriate footwear (no open-toe shoes) and hats. Bring sunscreen and bug repellant!
Our woodland trails are designed by John Morton. He has participated in seven Winter Olympic Games; as an athlete, coach and team leader of the U.S. Biathlon Team. His expertise in creating dynamic trail systems has delighted our hikers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers. Find out more about Hilltop Orchard's Nordic Ski Center.
We host a monthly Full Moon Hike & Bonfire and a Full Moon Snowshoe Trek & Bonfire in the winter. Both are guided excursions followed by wine tasting. Find out more about the Full Moon Hikes at Hilltop Orchards.
